Anchors and jump links
Every section can have an Anchor ID, so buttons, links and menu items can scroll straight to it.
On this page
Give a section an anchor
- Open the section and find Content → Anchor → Anchor ID.
- Type a short name with letters, digits and hyphens, for example
pricingorcustomer-story. Spaces and other characters become hyphens.
Link to it
- From any button or link on the same page: Choose External URL and enter
#pricing. - From another page or the menu: Enter the page address followed by the anchor, for example
/plans#pricing.
Good to know
- The page scrolls smoothly to the section and stops just below the sticky header, so the heading is never hidden.
- Visitors who prefer reduced motion jump straight to the section without the animation.
- Use each Anchor ID once per page.
