Comparison table

Compare plans or products feature by feature, with grouped rows, check marks and a highlighted column. The same module builds a full comparison page: A verdict, an «Updated» date, the table, a breakdown of the differences and structured data.

Set up the content

  1. Content → Columns: One column per plan or product with Name, Subtitle (for example the price) and an optional button.
  2. Content → Feature groups: Add a Group title and Rows.
  3. In Values write one value per column, separated by |:
  • yes | yes | no shows check marks and a dash.
  • 3 | 15 | Unlimited shows text. Never leave a value empty between two | – write no or – instead.

Build a comparison page

A page that compares two options – your product and an alternative, two plans, two ways of working – answers a question buyers ask search engines and AI assistants. The Comparison page template starts with this set-up:

SettingWhat to do
Heading → Heading levelChoose H1 when the table carries the page's main heading, and write the heading as the question the buyer asks
Heading → Lead textGive the verdict in two or three sentences, with the key facts in bold
Heading → Show dateLast reviewed date shows a date you set, for example «Updated: September 2026». The page's last update follows the page
Table text → Table titleA heading right above the table, for example «Side-by-side comparison»
Rows → BreakdownTwo or three bullet points on why the values differ. With Table text → Show detailed breakdown on, each row with a breakdown gets its own heading under the table
Structured data → Add comparison structured dataAdds the page as a schema.org WebPage and the table as an ItemList: Each row becomes a list item described by its values

Write every value so it makes sense on its own – «€15 per seller», not «15» – so a row still reads correctly when a search engine or an AI assistant quotes it.

Good to know

  • Use it as a decision matrix too: Situations as rows, your options as columns and yes/no values as the fit.
  • Screen readers hear «Included» and «Not included» for check marks and dashes – set the words under Table text. The same words describe check marks and dashes in the structured data.
  • Keep structured data on in one comparison table per page. Set a new Last reviewed date when you check the facts, and only then.
  • Structured data helps machines read the table. It does not guarantee a special search result.
  • Background, module width, spacing and alignment work the same in every module – see Backgrounds and Module width and inset panels.
