Subscribe card (Omni Pro)

This module ships in Omni Pro.

A sign-up card for an article: a heading, a line of text, a HubSpot form and share links. It can follow the reader down the page beside the text, or float in a corner and appear once the reader is far enough in to be worth asking.

On this page

The blog article template uses it in the sidebar. It works on any page.

What is on the card

SettingWhat it is
Heading and Heading levelThe title of the card. H2, H3 or plain text, so the page keeps one heading order
TextOne or two lines on what the reader gets, and how often
FormA HubSpot form. The card takes the theme's form styling, so it matches every other form on the site
Full width buttonThe submit button fills the card instead of sitting at its natural width
Small printA line under the form, for example how to unsubscribe

Share links

SettingWhat it does
Show share linksA row under the form
Copy link / After copyingThe button text, and what it says once the address is on the clipboard
LinkedIn, E-mailOne button each

Share buttons open in a new tab and carry the page's own address and title, so nothing has to be written per page.

Where it sits

SettingWhat it does
Beside the text, following the readerThe card sits in the column beside the article and sticks while the article scrolls past
Floating in a cornerThe card is fixed to the bottom corner of the window
CornerBottom right or bottom left
Appears afterHow far down the page, in percent, the floating card appears
Distance from the topThe gap between the header and the card in the following mode
Let the reader close itA close button. Once closed, the card stays closed for the rest of the visit

Set it up

  1. Open the blog article template, or drag Subscribe card into a column beside your text.
  2. Pick the Form. Use the same form as elsewhere on the site, so every sign-up lands in one list.
  3. Choose Where it sits. In a narrow column, Beside the text, following the reader reads best.
  4. If you choose the floating card, set Appears after to around 30 %, and leave Let the reader close it on.

Good to know

  • The following card needs a column tall enough to travel in. In a short article it simply sits still.
  • The floating card is hidden on small screens, where it would cover the text it is asking about.
  • Keep the heading to the promise, not the mechanism: «One e-mail a month on HubSpot CMS» beats «Subscribe to our newsletter».
