Blog posts

The Omni – blog post template shows every post in the Omni design, with nothing to set up per post.

TagsAll tags of the post, linking to their tag pages
Author boxThe author's name, photo and bio from the blog's author settings
CommentsShown when comments are switched on for the blog
Keep readingThree recent posts from the same blog, without the post the visitor is reading

Use it

  1. In the blog settings, choose Omni – blog post as the blog post template and Blog listing as the listing template.
  2. Give every post a featured image with alt text, and at least one tag.
  3. Add a bio and a photo to each author, so the author box has something to show.

Good to know

  • HubSpot adds the post's structured data (BlogPosting) automatically.
  • The featured image is usually the largest element on the page, so Omni loads it first. Upload it at least 1600 px wide, and remember that the 16:9 frame trims the top and bottom of taller images.
  • The first tag is the topic shown above the title, so put the main topic first.
