Common questions
I changed a theme setting, but one module did not change. The module has its own value for that setting. Open the module's Styles tab and reset the field, or set the value you want there.

Text is hard to read on my image or video background. Add an Overlay color with 60–75 % opacity and switch on Light text on dark background under Styles → Background.
My background video does not play on my phone. Mobile visitors see the poster image to save data. Switch on Play video on mobile under Content → Background video if the video is very small.
The logo marquee or other animations do not move. Animations are off for the module or in the theme settings, or the visitor's device has reduced motion switched on. Check Styles → Animation and Theme settings → Animations.
The filter chips only show a few tags. With Filter instantly on this page, chips come from the posts shown in the module. Show more posts or choose Link to tag pages.
Values in the comparison table end up in the wrong column. A value between two | is empty. Write no or – instead of leaving it blank.
The form does not appear on the live page. Choose a form under Content → Form in the CTA Band. The «Select a form» placeholder is only shown in the editor.
A button goes nowhere. Add a link in the button's Link field, or switch the Button type to HubSpot CTA.
The full-screen hero is taller or shorter than expected. Full screen fills the screen below the site header. Choose Medium or Custom (px) under Styles → Layout → Height for a fixed size.
The menu does not show in the header. Choose a navigation menu under Navigation → Menu in the Site header module: Click the header and choose Edit global content. Until a menu is selected, the header shows only the logo and the buttons.
A link in the footer is not clickable. Links without a target show as plain text. Add a link in the item's Link field under Link columns or Bottom row → Legal links.

Do I need to resize photos before uploading?
No. Photos from the file manager are delivered by HubSpot's image tool in the sizes the layout needs (several widths per image, the browser picks one), and background images at 1920 px. Upload the largest version you have, at least as wide as the space it fills. SVG and GIF files are used exactly as uploaded.
