Create your first page

Steps

1. Create a page from an Omni template (see Install Omni).
2. Click a module on the page. Its settings open in the left panel with two tabs: Content for text, images, buttons and repeating items, and Styles for layout, colors and spacing.
3. Change the heading and text. Wrap a phrase in asterisks to show it in the highlight color.
4. Replace images and add alt text that describes each image.
5. To add a module, click + between sections, choose Modules and search for «Omni» or the module name.
6. To reuse a ready-made layout, choose Sections instead of Modules.
7. Preview the page on desktop and mobile with the device icons at the top of the editor, then publish.

Good to know

• Use one H1 per page. The hero on Omni templates uses H1; other modules default to H2.
• Hide an optional element with its Show … toggle instead of deleting its text – you can switch it back on later.
• A module's colors and fonts follow the theme settings until you change them in the module. Changing them in the module only affects that module.
